its actually rather easy getting to lvl 2 i missed the first day due to working and still managed fine

using the scouts makes it really easy double the xp and of corse not using any npc that will snag ur loot and xp...

there are several different scouts throughout each area that double ur xp and give you points as well... found a few routs that are easily repeatable... and dont forget the mission xp wont scale... so get them completed but dont reward ull get better xp from killing with the dbl xp from scouts then do all ur rewards for a nice spike of XP...

found myself doing that alot and getting 2-3lvls everytime i decided to reward all my quests

once again though i really wish they gave more skills for rewards at least for side quests... some people dont like it but really its kinda generic haveing to buy all ur skills

i'm really hoping for skill rewards from quests once we get to the mainland, I really can't afford 1k for every skill plus having to have enough skill points as well

I got a paragon from 1-14 in 6 hours my first time through, didn't think the amount of time spent was any more than prophecies. With the blessings that give u double xp and promotion points for killing certain monsters, leveling up was pretty easy. Dunno if it gets harder after lvl 14 cause I deleted my paragon after to make a dervish. Got the dervish to lvl 8 in 2 hours this time before deleting for pvp testing.

The thing is, ALL of the quests are not IN a city. Some quests take you on a path to other quests. And some quests are in the middle of NO WHERE so you have to explore a bit.

I didn't even know where Vabbi was until I went north of the main island. And there were like 6 quests out there.

20 is very do-able. There are more quests then you can shake a stick at. Almost at level 20 now, up to 19+. Woulda been at 20 a long time ago if I knew earlier about +50% exp from the scouts and if I had bothered to buy scrolls. Even got me some slick silver armor, going for blacks before the end.

I don't think the OP realizes new quests open up in different towns when you reach a new sunspear rank. because there are plenty of them

i got to 17 no bother. save quest rewards for later.

So close, less then 2,600 exp to go to get |v|20. Did all the quests and it's tough to get exp when you're 8 levels above almost everything you kill. Did manage to get 1 black armor piece tho to add to my other 3 silvers. But with T -5 minutes to go I guess that's as far as I'm gona get.

I got to 20 without trying very hard. I certainly didn't need to farm for xp, I just tackled every quest I found. I did make a point of it to always carry all the scout blessings I could though.

if 20 is coming along that fast, i think it should be toned down a bit, you have to remember factions and prof, in prof there was the pre-searing, where lvl 10 was a lot of work, and 20 was almost impossable, in factions the training island got you to 18+ in a few hours time, and now in nightfall on the training island lvl 15+ are everywhere.

i miss prof, where you were half way through the game and only lvl 15.

I totally agree here.. What will happen later on on main land.. like factions where u get this few 1000 XP that u do not need. I'd like to know what kind of rewards do u get later on after u already reached lvl 20 and u no longer need more XP, therefor u have no reason to bother with this long quest ( which usualy contained run and kill all over the place and no real rewards ).

That is exactly it and I thought it would be more like Prophecies where you can leave the Island anytime you wanted much like presearing.I didn't realizes you had to gain rank here to get more quests and areas.I hope that was for the WPE and it doesn't end up this way in when the game finally is out.

You guys dont get it at all. Youre supposed to be at level 20 or damn near it when you come out of the starter island. Because the content from then on will be level 20 content so that the imported level 20 characters from other chapters will be able to do them.

If half the chapter is prelevel 20 stuff, then all those other level 20s will miss out on half the content. Making the bulk of the game as level 20 content ensures that everyone will have a chance to enjoy the game, whether you're starting a new character or importing one.

Speak for yourself. My Factions character could barely keep up gaining XP to keep her buying and capping skills. Without all the 3,000+ XP quests, I'd have had to spend time grinding for experience.

I know lots of people forgot to do the recommended thing of talking to the scouts Early... That way you got max exp. when you stopped getting the scouts talking to you... around lev 15... then start doing the extra quests for the Exp from those... you will find that if you use this strategy when it goes live it will be VERY VERY easy to get to lev 20. and still have lots of quests to accumulate skill points with.

I didnt do this myself during the event as I didnt want to outclass the region... makes it too easy and boring in my opinion. but when it goes live I will not do much on this island beyond primaries , so I will be power grinding to lev 20 using scouts and scrolls really fast so I can head for Kourna... or better yet just bring my old original Prophecies character over to do primaries quickly and off to rest of game in first day or so...

/Disagree I don't think it should be toned down at all really. Prophecies was way to much of a grind for most people and most people don't want to do it again. Factions had rewards for doing nearly nothing at all (Such as running from Togo to the Masters, then from them to the trainer for an (Guessing)5k exp) In Nightfall, there are no gimme quests, we fight and work for nearly every quest, and everything seems very well balanced.

Nightfall had TONS of "gimme" quests, where all you had to do was walk 5 feet away from a town or just talk to 3 people who were located in towns. There were many that were very time consumming and "difficult" as well, but a lot of quests were rediculously easy and required virtually no effort at all.
